Break It On Down!

Throughout my placement, my students have enjoyed watching and creating videos. I have played numerous videos during class periods in order for my students to make outside connections to topics we have discussed within the classroom.

While discussing "Solving Inequalities with a Negative Coefficients," I had the class watch and dance to the "Cha Cha Slide" video, focusing on the "REVERSE! REVERSE!" move. 100% of my students mastered the objective of always reversing the inequality sign when multiplying or dividing my a negative number. It was amazing to see how a simple dance video helped and encouraged students to comprehend the math skill!
